Revolving doors

Two modes are offered as standard:

Go/Stop working mode: The door stops if there are no people detected. The door revolves at normal speed if pedestrians are detected by the infrared sensors and will keep on revolving until no pedestrians are detected. This is an energy saving mode.

Continuous working mode: The door revolves at a low speed if there are no pedestrians. The door revolves at a normal speed if pedestrians are detected by infrared sensor – suitable for large traffic flow.

Flow Systems supplies both semi-automatic and fully automatic motorised access control revolving doors.

The automatic access control revolving door rotates automatically in the chosen direction at a set speed. Rotation is activated by the access control reader, normally mounted on either side for authorised entry and exit.

Emergency Mode – The door is unlocked mechanically or optionally by fire signal and the rotor will revolve freely.

Revolving Doors are all completely factory assembled and tested to minimise installation time. The area floor surface mounting requires the floor to have a levelled surface with a minimum strength of 20Mpa, suitable to accept M10 x 100mm anchor bolts. The unit mass is approximately 500Kgs and its electrical power requirement is 220V AC 50Hz 10A.

Flow Systems offers Manual Revolving Doors from 1.4 to 3 meters in diameter, with high quality finishes in steel, stainless steel, aluminium, etc. resulting in attractive entrances that help prevent heat and cold air entering or leaving the building. Thus, creating a more energy saving and “green” entrance solution than sliding or swing doors. The door rotor operation is manual with optional mechanical speed control with self-centering function that stops the rotor in a “locked” position. The rotor is locked mechanically.
